My name is Brendan Wiesner, I’m an avid comic fan and student of journalism at Central Michigan University.

Marvelous Issues is about our favorite heroes and the stories they can tell. I’ve been reading comics from Marvel DC and other publishers since middle school like many nerds across the world.

With the recent surge in popularity of superheroes with the Marvel Cinematic Universe becoming the largest and most successfully movie franchise of all time and a large increase in comic book sales in the past decade. Now is a new age of comics and comic related media and it can be hard and overwhelming considering the hundreds of hours of film on both the large and small screen and millions of issues of comics. So think of this as your one stop shop to talk about the most recent and most famous superhero comics, movies and tv shows and discussion.
